SASO(沙特阿拉伯标准组织)近宣布即将实施标准SASO 2870/2015：照明产品的能效、功能和标签要求。

这项标准涉及光通量大于60流明以及小于12 000流明的以下类别的定向和非定向普通照明源：白炽灯、带集成式镇流器的紧凑型荧光灯（CFLi）、卤素灯、LED灯（白炽灯取代型），以及LED灯（卤素灯取代型）。

上述标准的要求于2016年5月1日开始执行。

根据要求，生产商/出口商须在标准开始执行日期前获得SASO的能效许可，以避免延误产品的销售。
