下表表示恒压驱动电路在低速时,对单极与双极驱动工作效率的比较。电流与线圈匝数之积称为安匝,与转矩成正比,两者如转速相同,输出功率也与其有比例关系。由于低速时,电抗小,电抗如果忽略不计,V/R即为电流,与N之积VN/R变成安匝数。同样,双极电流为V/2R,匝数也为2N,此积与单极情形相同为VN/R。输入恒压驱动的情形,双极与单极比较,如下表所示,电流只有单极的1/2,低速时的效率为单极的2倍。小型化或低速时,要产生大转矩的情况,应使用双极式驱动,但驱动电路复杂。
