墨竹，即毛笔蘸墨所绘，相传始于唐代画圣吴道子之手，又说出于五代郭崇韬之妻李氏。此一副墨竹，落师百卉款，题渭川千亩，以重墨为面，淡墨为背，笔笔遒劲，如锥画沙，迎风而动，流露气节，方寸间但显恢弘，大气而不失雅致。竹是岁寒三友之一、四君子，墨竹画的历史地位是不可置疑的。它寄托了太多文人雅士的高尚情怀，是东方文明的重要非物质文化遗产，此幅墨竹，画工，保存完好，具有非常高的收藏价值。
