The protein has a calculated MW of 84.4 kDa. The protein migrates as 95-110 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

分子背景（Background）
LRRC15（富含亮氨酸重复序列的蛋白质15）也称为LIB和hLib。LRRC15在各种实体瘤中高度表达。LRRC15在许多实体瘤（如乳腺、头颈部、肺、胰腺）的基质成纤维细胞上表达，也直接在间充质来源的癌症细胞亚群（如肉瘤、黑色素瘤、胶质母细胞瘤）上表达。TGFβ在活化的成纤维细胞（αSMA+）和间充质干细胞上诱导LRRC15的表达。这些共同的发现表明LRRC15是一种新的CAF和间充质标记物，可作为治疗LRRC15阳性的间充质结缔组织增生性癌症或间充质来源癌症的治疗靶点。ABBV-085是一种针对LRRC15的含单甲基金抑制素E（MMAE）的抗体-药物偶联物（ADC），它作为单一疗法或与标准护理疗法相结合，对LRRC15中的异常阳性/癌症阴性和LRRC15癌症阳性模型表现出强大的临床前疗效。
