阳离子的好坏程度不是用分子量来衡量的而是用离子度来衡量的：离子度越高，絮凝效果越好。阳离子酰胺带有阳电荷集团。1-2ppm是体积浓度值，也就是说一吨水投胺1--2克，（这是指阴离子而言），阳离子使用时比阴离子要少一些，少三分子一即可，也就是一吨水投胺一克，非离子在使用时比阳离子要少一些，也就是一吨水加0.8克即可，但同时也要注意水质不同，以上标准也是不准确的。
